If there's one thing (there's actually millions of things) elected officials don't understanding it's smokers. This is one area where Obama may be able to provide a unique perspective but the rest are clueless.
The house is proposing new legislation that will force cig makers to disclose ingredients, stop using descriptive words like fresh, light etc, in ads and so on.

What these guys don't understand is that you could force the industry to label these things as flammable turds and people would still smoke. You're already sucking so much money out of these people in taxes it's absurd.
As far as I'm concerned they can just outlaw the damn things - just don't even think of f*cking with my chew!
